A mod can define the exact tiles\u002Fsettlements\u002Fetc that should be generated, but it can't easily generate custom planets on the fly. This framework allows mods to do things like:\r\n\u003Cul>\u003Cli>Restrict which biomes should generate\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>Replace ocean tiles and textures, or remove oceans outright to have a fully solid world\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>Change the global average temperature to anything they want\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>And more!\u003C\u002Fli>\u003C\u002Ful>\r\nAll while keeping the vanilla world generation fully intact.\r\n\r\nAlso note that while Worldbuilder has first-class support and I fully recommend using it, the mod can also work without it.
