Pawns crossing that cell may receive burns long after the original fire is gone.\r\n\r\nIn the reproduced save, a basement stair cell remained at approximately \u003Cstrong>716 C\u003C\u002Fstrong> for tens of thousands of ticks and burned multiple pawns passing through it.\r\n\r\n\u003Ch3>Root cause\u003C\u002Fh3>\r\n\r\nThe shared link definition used by stairs, ladders and elevators inherits RimWorld's \u003Cem>Building_Door\u003C\u002Fem>. Vanilla doors tick normally and periodically run the game's own temperature equalization through the occupied cell.\r\n\r\nAs above, So below II changes that shared definition from \u003Cem>Normal\u003C\u002Fem> ticking to \u003Cem>Never\u003C\u002Fem>. This also disables the inherited door temperature update.
