If you forget to offer up the ambrosia, go into dev mode and injure a colonist at random. For extra difficulty, ramp up the injuries for every sacrifice missed after until at 5 missed sacrifices a random colonist is killed. This will satisfy the gods for 5 days, during which time you do not neeed to sacrifice ambrosia.
