There's also an option to hide unknown animals entirely instead of having them visible in the screen with their info garbled.\r\u003Cbr>\r\u003Cbr>Animals are listed if they meet the requirements, in short this should mostly just result in animals with no mechanoids, including modded ones.\r\u003Cbr>\r\u003Cbr>Unlocks via sighting are purely detecting if they spawn, so any method that spawns an animal will mark them as seen, in vanilla this tends to only be if they have been on a player or encounter map, mods may spawn them for other reasons and cause them to be shown as seen but I am not aware of any doing this.
