They are enhanced in physical terms, but suffers mentally from not having a proper childhood and upbringing.\r\u003Cbr>\r\u003Cbr>\u003Ch4>Unique backstories\u003C\u002Fh4>\r\u003Cbr>All In Vitros are bred in tanks (the word 'tank' is sometimes used as a derogatory term for the In Vitros), hence they didn't have a childhood. They were bred to compensate for the decline of the human race, to be used in warfare and for manual labor. The were engineered to be strong (healthy, strong, fast etc) and they are, but their lack of a proper childhood makes them mentally different from other humans.\r\u003Cbr>\r\u003Cbr>The four adult backstories are 'Colonist', 'Soldier', 'Pirate' and 'Slummer'. \r\u003Cbr>\r\u003Cbr>\u003Cstrong>Colonist:\u003C\u002Fstrong> An In Vitro colonist is part of a pacifist movement widespread among the In Vitros. As a reaction to their violent and dark history, some In Vitros have made a commitment to proving to both themselves and everybody else they are not inherently bad.\r\u003Cbr>\r\u003Cbr>\u003Cstrong>Soldier:\u003C\u002Fstrong> The soldiers were bred for fighting in the Silicate War. The war was a failure, and the In Vitro soldiers that survived was scattered.\r\u003Cbr>\r\u003Cbr>\u003Cstrong>Slummer:\u003C\u002Fstrong> After the In Vitros was discarded as the solution for humanity's need for soldiers and workers, many of them became stuck scraping a living off the streets in rough conditions.\r\u003Cbr>\r\u003Cbr>\u003Cstrong>Pirate:\u003C\u002Fstrong> As many In Vitros were bred for death and destruction, some of them found a new place amongst the many pirate outlets of the offworlds when the Silicate war ended.\r\u003Cbr>\r\u003Cbr>\u003Chr>\r\u003Cbr>\r\u003Cbr>\u003Ch3>Notes\u003C\u002Fh3>\r\u003Cbr>\r\u003Cbr>\u003Cul>\u003Cli>The 'In Vitro race' is my first race mod. I'm already at work with a few more.
