Powerful sonic attacks are a lore-accurate counter to Viltrumites, so LRADs give ordinary factions a believable way to threaten even extremely powerful Viltrumite pawns.\r\n\r\nThe problem was friendly fire.\r\n\r\nMy own pawns would sometimes get hit by SonicShock and immediately enter PanicFlee, abandoning the fight because of an accidental LRAD hit. I wanted LRADs to remain dangerous and lore-appropriate without having my Viltrumites constantly running away from friendly-fire sonic shocks.\r\n\r\n\u003Ch2>What This Mod Does\u003C\u002Fh2>\r\n\r\nThis mod prevents the PanicFlee mental state from starting on player-faction pawns while they are affected by the LRAD Weapons SonicShock hediff.\r\n\r\nSonicShock itself is NOT removed.\r\n\r\nYour pawns still receive SonicShock and its other effects normally. This mod only blocks the PanicFlee mental state for player-faction pawns affected by SonicShock.\r\n\r\n\u003Ch2>What It Does NOT Change\u003C\u002Fh2>\r\n\r\n\u003Cul>\u003Cli>Does not make player currently have SonicShock.\r\n\r\nThat means it should coexist cleanly with most other mods unless another mod completely replaces the same mental-state behavior.\r\n\r\n\u003Ch2>Why This Exists\u003C\u002Fh2>\r\n\r\nViltrumites should absolutely have to respect sonic weapons.\r\n\r\nThey just shouldn't abandon the battlefield because somebody on their own side clipped them with an
