Shuttles equipped with a cloaking device can temporarily vanish from enemy targeting, breaking hostile targeting and remain hidden for a period of time. Cloaking consumes stored energy and enters a cooldown when disengaged.\r\u003Cbr>\r\u003Cbr>I made this mod because I like going to modded maps with a ton of enemies like those in Ancient Urban Ruins and Real Ruins. It was annoying that I had to baby sit my shuttle instead of focusing on the content. I ended up taking one of the pack animals half the time, leaving the shuttle in the dock.\r\u003Cbr>\r\u003Cbr>Cloaking is pretty strong so I made sure there was some cons.\r\u003Cbr>\r\u003Cbr>Pros:\r\u003Cbr>Cloaking will break enemy target\r\u003Cbr>Enemies will ignore your shuttle\r\u003Cbr>Colonist can remain in shuttle while hidden\r\u003Cbr>The cloaking device has a built in power system that recharges over time on its own.\r\u003Cbr>You can take off in your shuttle while cloaked, when you land, the shuttle will be cloaked.\r\u003Cbr>You can toggle the cloak on\u002Foff even on the world map.\r\u003Cbr>Auto uncloak toggle that can have the shuttle uncloak itself when landing on a home map.\r\u003Cbr>\r\u003Cbr>Cons:\r\u003Cbr>Shuttle is invisible, not invincible. It can still take damage from random shots or AoE damage.\r\u003Cbr>The cloaking device is limited to 3 days(similar to a 3 day campsite).\r\u003Cbr>It takes 1 day to fully recharge.\r\u003Cbr>The same requirements for shuttle take off applies to cloaking.\r\u003Cbr>A colonist is required to cloak AND uncloak.\r\u003Cbr>The cloaking device will automatically shut off and start recharging if it runs out of energy.\r\u003Cbr>Cloaking has a 1 hour cooldown(similar to 1 hour launch cooldown).\r\u003Cbr>The cloaking device will be permanently destroyed if the shuttle is destroyed.\r\u003Cbr>Pawns will not service your shuttle while cloaked(No refueling or repairing), but you can still refuel from cargo.\r\u003Cbr>\r\u003Cbr>Since the device will be lost, I made it easier to obtain then a shuttle engine. You can buy them occasionally from outlander and empire settlements. They will appear sometimes in orbital traders like the shuttle engine. Once you have a cloaking device, select a pawn and right click on the shuttle to install.\r\u003Cbr>\r\u003Cbr>If a 3 day cooldown is still to short for you, you can increase it up 15 days in the mod settings. If thats still not enough, you can disable recharging altogether.\r\u003Cbr>\r\u003Cbr>The transparency can also be adjusted in the mod settings. Changing either will require a restart.\r\u003Cbr>\r\u003Cbr>Can it be installed mid-save?\r\u003Cbr>Yes\r\u003Cbr>Can it be removed mid-save?\r\u003Cbr>Yup\r\u003Cbr>\r\u003Cbr>What about mod support?\r\u003Cbr>There's automatic support for all modded shuttles. Well, unless they modded the shuttle to much.\r\u003Cbr>\r\u003Cbr>It goes invisible so what about performance?\r\u003Cbr>1\u002F4 of the code is dedicated solely to optimization.
