The discovery layer
RimWorld was missing.

Steam Workshop has everything — but finding it, ordering it, and sharing it is its own survival challenge. RimMods is built to fix that.

What you can do

Browse & quick search

Quickly browse through all the available RimWorld mods from the Steam Workshop. Just press Ctrl + . anywhere for an instant search through the archive!

Filters & Presets

We offer you some quick presets to help you find the mods you're looking for. If none of the filters work for you, you can mix together your own query. Find the top picks, popular, hidden gems, freshly released, and more!

Tier list

We've created a tier list to help you find the best mods for your game. Each tier is capped and labeled, so you can easily spot the must-haves and skip the noise. Or maybe you're one of those who likes to play the D-tier and see what that's all about! The list is automatically updated to stay up-to-date with the latest mods and ratings.

Author highlights

We at RimMods love the authors for the work they create and share with the community. To help boost their efforts, we've added author highlights to our platform. We will list the top 5 authors, but also the newest and freshest ones, to offer them a spotlight. We're always looking for ways to support and encourage our talented community of modders. And if you're an author yourself, we'd love to hear from you! Join our community and share your creations.

Pack builder

For now we've waited to release this feature while we fine-tune it. We will surely keep you updated!

Version preference

Some of us like to run on older versions, or we're just too attached to let go yet. And that's respectable! We list all versions a mod supports going form version >= 1.1. For those that run the latest version, we'll show a badge to let you know what's up-to-date too.

Freshness badges

Each mod card shows whether a mod is fresh (updated in 30 days), stale (180+ days), or missing RimWorld 1.6 support. Updates will refresh the freshness badges.

New mods this week

A weekly changelog at /mods/new groups every freshly published mod by week. There are a lot of gems in here so do look! I have learned of some great new QoL-mods during development of this website.

Best RimWorld mods by category

To categorized based on steam workshop items is a bit difficult, but we've tried our best. A lot of mods are categorized in management, others I could split out. Hope it is helpful.

Surprise me

Feeling lucky? Hit Surprise me from the sidebar or the browse header and land on a random mod from the full catalogue. Every visit is a different pick. Fun for some random discovery.
