This mod adds complicated production chains for cloth and devilstrand.
This mod adds complicated production chains for cloth and devilstrand.
I did not like it that cotton plants and devilstrand mushrooms yielded ready-to-use cloth. So I changed that.
Now cotton plants yield raw cotton which has to be processed to thread using a spinning wheel. The thread has to be processed to cloth at a loom. This requires research first (Tribals start with the research since they have "weavers" in their background stories so I thought this figures).
Devilstrand yields harvested shrooms which decay within a few days. To extract shroom fibres from the mushrooms a solvent is needed (chemfuel or neutroamine) and they have to be incubated at a shroom tub for a short time period. As soon as the solvent is added the mixture becomes unstable and decays quickly - so put them in the tub ASAP. Afterwards the shroom fibres can be processed to thread at the spinning wheel and the devilstrand thread can be weaved to devilstrand cloth at the loom. Note: Tribals can obtain chemfuel by taming boomalopes or by trading. Nothing is easy on the rim, folks.
planned features:
- add individual sounds for the new work benches
- include wool as well. You cannot make pants and shirts directly from the stuff that fell of the muffalo.
- make a fancy description
