A Knight and his Squire

Long ago, and far away, there lived a noble knight accompanied by his faithful squire in training. They happened upon a rustic and somewhat delapitated hut of a well known and ffeared old crone. Legend has it that if any man can answer a simple riddle, they shall be rewarded with fame and fortunes untold. Galliantly the knight enter's the crones hut and asks to be challenged by a riddle. The old crone looks up and becons the knight forward. "I shall entice thee with the riddle you seek, The right answer leads to riches untold and unique". The knight, arrogant and haughty in his ways scoffed and replied "have at it you crone, I have not all day to deal with your ilk."

The crone then began to ask the knight, "I am the part of the bird thats not in the sky, I can swim in the ocean and yet remain dry. What am I?" After careful contemplation, he retorted with "A shadow!!"

"in all my life no soul has gotten that right." A deal is a deal, But I didnt say it would be easy.
