It accelerates any unit (turrets, colonists, animals, plants) within an 8-cell radius, with a single torch capping at 4× speed and a total cap of 16× across all torches.
Effects stack additively in overlapping areas.
Provides 100% brightness illumination within its radius.
Uses aggressive implementation code to faithfully reproduce the original effect — use with caution.
