Overview
Allow Tool's Finish Off mechanic makes killing pawns who have the Deathless gene very easy once they are downed, which I disagree with. Lore-wise, deathless pawns can only die if their brain is destroyed, and I believe that properly scrambling a human brain to kill an almost immortal being should require some finesse. This mod balances things by changing the mechanics a bit:- The skill requirement for finishing off a deathless pawn has been increased from 6 to 16 melee.
- Finishing off a deathless pawn gives them the Brain: Destroyed hediff.
- If the skill requirements for finishing off are turned off in Allow Tool's settings, then deathless pawns cannot be finished off at all.
Compatibity
This is the first time I use Harmony's transpilation feature, so this fact, combined with the niche nature of my changes, should make this mod extremely compatible. It's also safe to add to/remove from an active playthrough.Credits
