Better Milking with Shard
Optimize the number of livestock to improve TPS while maintaining the same output and costs as before.
Optimize the number of livestock to improve TPS while maintaining the same output and costs as before.
This mod does not add new livestock or items that could bloat the game for optimization purposes.
Try injecting an Archotech Shard into a cow to reduce the number of cows.
It’ll get a 400% milk production buff along with a balancing debuff.
Now Available Animals (Female Only)
Cow, Boomalope, Caribou, Elk, Goat
Game FAQ
Q: Can I get my spent shards back?
A. Yes. You can get them back if you cook them for dinner.
Q: How does auto-slaughter work for animals with this buff?
A: They are still listed but won’t be auto-slaughtered, so you’ll need to slaughter them manually (except for Mental Break).
Mod FAQ
Q: Why did you choose this system instead of creating new cows, like compressed ones?
A: Because you can safely add or remove it anytime during the game, as it doesn't add any new content.
Q: Will there be support for original or modded animals?
A: Maybe. I'm planning it.
