Consume Dirt

Have you ever been so starved that you wanted to eat the ground beneath your feet?

Have you ever been so starved that you wanted to eat the ground beneath your feet? Well your colonists probably have. And now they can do just that.

This mod allows your colonists to dig up and eat dirt. Naturally they will not like this and it will probably not be good for their digestive system either.

Features

In the order tab of the architect menu, there is now a new designation called 'Dig Dirt'. Using this you can mark fertile soil (above 10% fertility) to be dug up by a miner (nothing will happen to the soil itself), resulting in edible Dirt.

This dirt never spoils, has a nutrition value of 0.01 (100 dirt is equivalent to a full meal). However, it has a food poisoning chance of 25%. Colonists will dislike eating dirt more than eating a corpse.

The amount colonists dig up by default is 5 times the mining yield stat of the colonist doing the digging. The base amount of 5 can be changed in the mod settings, max amount it can be changed to is 100.

Precepts for dirt eating: Horrible (-15 mood), Don't care (neutral), Loved (+15 mood)

Known bug(s)
None, yay.

Mod conflict(s)
Minor conflict with Achtungs forced work exclamation mark being below the dig dirt designation.
