Dance Party Custom Music

Replaces the lightball dance party music with your own custom audio files. "Inspired by @NickliesCat's short video 'Medical Emergency', I wanted to recreate this concept as a mod."

HOW TO ADD MUSIC

Place OGG or WAV files in the mod's Music folder, then restart the game. The new tracks will appear in the mod settings, where you can enable or disable individual tracks. A few royalty-free sample tracks are included for testing purposes. Please replace or supplement them with your own music files.

RECOMMENDED TRACK LENGTH

Short loop tracks of 15 seconds or less are recommended. They loop automatically for the full duration of the party. For reference, a dance party at 1× speed lasts about 1 minute 23 seconds; tracks longer than that will be cut off when the party ends.

OGG, WAV

PERFORMANCE NOTE

All tracks are loaded into memory when the game starts. Adding a very large number of files, or very large / long files (especially uncompressed WAV), will increase memory usage and lengthen startup load time. A handful of normal-length songs is recommended; OGG is more memory-friendly than WAV.
