Overview
Dirtmoles are the least complicated xenotype in the game. They are so simple that it kind of feels like they adapted on their own. While in fact, they were Engineered.
I wanted to add a few additions which would make seem as if they were, engineered.
No gene was removed
So lets talk about my 4
added genes
Partial antitoxic lungs - There are often toxins in caves. I think it's safe to expect them being adapted to filter toxins and dust out of the air.
Reduced pain - They dig, scrape, and work in conditions that would be miserable or even torturous for baseline humans. They should be able to keep working despite bruises, scrapes, and strains.
Strong construction - mining can't be done on it's own. They definitely should be able to build pillars, supports.
Alcohol dependency - This is the only 'bad' gene that I added. Why? Because it's fun. And it suits them! They are like dwarfs, don't you think?
Lore implication? Let's say it's done to make them easier to control as workers. You can write your ideas in the comments!
This mod is a PATCH. So it's supposed to be compatible with EVERYTHING.
But I don't know why would you use it with other dirtmole mods....

See changenotes. Vanilla Events Expanded is one of our oldest mods, and I’m honestly shocked it’s holding up so well - it’s pretty resistant to game updates and bugs because of its simplicity. Back when I first made it with Kikohi, we didn’t know much about modding. I just wanted
