⚡ ELECTRIC BUTCHER TABLE

Electric Butcher Table starts as a faster powered alternative to the vanilla butcher table, then grows with your colony. Research upgrade modules, manufacture them at a machining table, and install them into individual tables. You can improve cutting speed, recover more meat and leather, reduce the mess, push the machinery into overdrive, or automate animal butchering entirely. The table has also received a complete visual overhaul. Major installed upgrades now add visible machinery to the table, so a fully upgraded setup actually looks fully upgraded.

THE BASE TABLE

  • Powered work speed: 175% — 75% faster than a standard butcher table
  • Power use: 200 W
  • Build cost: 75 metallic stuff, 125 steel and 2 components
  • Unpowered use: Still works, but at half of its powered speed
  • Size: 3 × 1

BUILD IT. UPGRADE IT.

Upgrades are installed per table rather than applied globally: • Complete the relevant research. • Manufacture the module at a machining table. • Open the electric butcher table’s bills and install it. Installed modules are permanent to that table, persist through saving and reinstalling, and cannot be installed twice.

NINE UPGRADES

Cutting
  • Advanced Blades: +25 percentage points of work speed
  • High-Speed Motors: A further +20 percentage points of work speed
Yield
  • Precision Calibration: +5% meat and leather
  • Butcher’s Mastery: A further +10% meat and leather
Cleanliness
  • Reinforced Surface: Prevents 25% of blood filth from butchering
  • Self-Cleaning Surface: Supersedes the reinforced surface and prevents 75%
  • Sterile Environment System: Changes table cleanliness from -10 to +2
Specialised machinery
  • Overdrive: Toggle another +50 percentage points of work speed. Power use rises from 200 W to 600 W while enabled.
  • Automated Butchering: Processes allowed non-humanlike corpses beside the table without a pawn. Automation operates at 50% yield and speed efficiency, uses an additional 600 W while processing, and can run alongside a pawn using the same table.

WHAT CHANGED IN THIS OVERHAUL?

  • Nine researchable, craftable and installable modules
  • Persistent upgrades stored on each individual table
  • New Overdrive and Automated Butchering systems
  • Meat and leather yield upgrades
  • Blood-filth prevention and sterile-table upgrades
  • A new research tree
  • A complete table retexture with directional upgrade attachments
  • Unique module artwork and clearer descriptions
  • Duplicate-installation protection
  • Updated and tested for RimWorld 1.6

COMPATIBILITY

  • RimWorld version: 1.6
  • Required mod: Harmony
  • DLC: No DLC required
Recipes that explicitly use the vanilla butcher table are automatically made available on the electric butcher table. This should cover most modded butcher-table recipes, although compatibility with every possible mod cannot be guaranteed. Recommended load order • Harmony • Electric Butcher Table

GOOD TO KNOW

  • Automation only processes allowed, non-humanlike corpses within reach of the table.
  • Automation follows the table’s active butcher-creature bill and ingredient filter.
  • Installed modules are part of the table and are not returned when it is deconstructed.
