Description

Provides a structure that can provide an early warning for incoming drop pod raids. Also other stuff.

What it really does

Whenever the storyteller decides to check if you are a game journalist, this mod generates the necessary pawns and saves all the drop positions for the raid but delays dropping the pods for 30 seconds. If you have the new air-defense radar, the game will warn you about the impending raid.

Mod compatibility

This mod completely replaces the "RaidEnemy" IncidentDef, and ignores the arrival methods of PawnsArrivalModeWorker_EdgeDrop, PawnsArrivalModeWorker_EdgeDropGroups, PawnsArrivalModeWorker_RandomDrop, and PawnsArrivalModeWorker_CenterDrop whenever the RaidEnemy incident is called.

The 30 second warning does not work on custom air drop raids.

To test if this works on your modded playthrough:
  1. Build an air-defense radar and keep it powered
  2. Open debug actions menu
  3. Select "Execute raid with specifics"
  4. Select "Mechanoid" or "Pirate" (as these Factions have drop pod raids available)
  5. Select "5000 points"
  6. Select "ImmediateAttack"
  7. Select either "EdgeDrop", "EdgeDropGroups", "CenterDrop" or "RandomDrop"
  8. Try saving and reloading the game.

FAQ

Why 30 seconds?
It's the number Jason Statham screamed in The One.

Why does the air-defense radar look so familiar?
Because it's just a re-colored Long Range Mineral Scanner (lel kek xd).

Will this be updated with new stuff?
Maybe. I'm just updating it because I don't want this to be like one of those extra sad mods that only do one thing but adds to the clutter of your mod list.

You can suggest stuff in the comments below (lol j/k i dont read them).
