Since I periodically forget to assign the right crafter when creating a bill at workbenches, only realizing it when the pawn has already started making the item (or, without looking, mistook infantry armor for reconnaissance armor), and canceling, even an item that has just been started, will cost 1/4 - I thought that canceling in the early stages of production without a resource penalty would be nice and not even very unbalanced.
By default, it is set that a lossless refund will only apply up to 30% progress, so as not to abuse crafter training by canceling crafting near completion with a full resource refund and starting over. But this can be changed in the settings by sett your own limit, lowering or raising it, as you find comfortable for your playthrough.
Q&A
Q: Does the mod have a significant impact on performance?
A: The calculation and display of the progress percentage only happens when selecting a single unfinished item and updates when the "remaining work" changes (not the external one visible to the user), so there is no background load, and when selecting an item - it's near zero.
Q: Is it safe to remove the mod from an ongoing game?
A: Since the mod does not store any information and calculates on the fly, it can be safely installed and uninstalled in med game.
