Less Annoying Minor Alerts

Save your ears and your sanity with this mod! The last thing you need after a difficult raid is a bunch of annoying klaxons letting you know your colonists have infections and are wandering sadly.

Replaces the two harsh alert stings with a softer notification chime, and drops the volume a little. There's a slider in the mod options that lets you adjust the volume to your liking.

Covers the yellow "negative event" letters (infections, minor bad news) and the orange "small threat" letters. Weather warnings like torrential rain, tox rain and blind fog use that second sound, so they are covered too.

Red major-threat letters, neutral letters and good-news letters are left alone, so a raid still sounds like a raid.

Safe to add or remove from an existing save.
