Mechanoid Baby

A framework mod that adds a system for implanting artificial wombs into mechanoids to conceive human children. Designed for solo mechanitor playthroughs. Research and craft an artificial womb, then implant it into a compatible mechanoid — that mech will begin to ovulate periodically. You can induce pregnancy through sperm injection or by sharing a bed, and after the gestation period a human child carrying the biological father's genes is born. This mod was developed with help from Claude Opus 4.7.

Three Womb Tiers

Artificial Womb (Industrial) Crafted from steel and components after research. Ovulation 24 days / gestation 18 days. Newborns may occasionally be born frail. Bionic Artificial Womb (Spacer) Crafted from plasteel and advanced components. Ovulation 20 days / gestation 15 days. Has a chance to produce mechanite-enhanced children. Archotech Mechanoid Womb (Archotech) Cannot be crafted — obtainable only from exotic traders or rewards. Both ovulation and gestation are 10 days. Reliably produces flawless mechanite-enhanced children, and grants an additional mood bonus during intimacy.

Mechanite-Enhanced Children

Children born from special wombs have mechanite particles integrated into their blood vessels, enhancing their physical capabilities. - Blood Filtration / Blood Pumping / Moving / Hearing / Sight all +25% - A childhood backstory granting instinctive ease with any learning - A trait that lets them feel they are somehow special

Features

Framework design: All mechanoids automatically compatible, including modded ones.
Three ways to conceive: sperm injection surgery / intimate time with intent / intimate time without
Womb extraction and re-implantation: one womb can be moved between mechs
Biological father's genes and xenotype are inherited
Birth extraction system: after gestation ends, the mechanitor must personally extract the baby
Mechanoid Milk compatibility: optional "only mechs with motherhood can be milked" setting
