Sectionable engineers on some unsanctioned planets decided that old is better. Despite laser weapons being in service, nothing quite beats explosions, TNT or antigrain, explosions are fun.
An improved production of an old world MRLS, while its age shows, its effectiveness is none the less noted by anyone on the receiving end of the 15cm rockets the system delivers.

Usage:
Self propelled rocket artillery. Best used far away from direct combat. Loads 10 rockets before a lengthy reload, rockets travel over mountains, cover and other such barriers. Requires Biofuel Refining and Mortars.
15cm Shells can be used in anything that uses mortar shells.
Once shells are procured, click on the vehicle and click load cargo. Load the shells you want, once loaded the vehicle is ready for combat.

History:

The Panzerwerfer 42 auf Maultier (Sd.Kfz. 4/1) (Armoured Mortar) is a converted variant of the Maultier half-track. First put into production in 1943 as an armoured cross country vehicle carrying a modified version of the 15cm Nebelwerfer 41. The vehicle's weight was increased to 7.1 tonnes from 3.9-5.5 tonnes of the unmodified Maultier.
The vehicle fired 15cm rockets that were spin stabilised, the propellant was placed at the front of the rocket with the explosives at the rear, this allowed them to detonate just above the ground.
