Howdy! I'm Patricia and here is the only mod you will need for your spiritual healing needs, This mods adds 4 new drugs that function differently to every other drug in Official Rimworld, These include: Spiritroot Tea , Moonbrain , Glimmerpearls and the new Berserker Balm! These all share the common ingredient of Ambrosia, I used it because I feel like it doesnt get any use ingame (From me atleast) so doing this might cause me to care when an Ambrosia Sprout pops up. Each of these drugs have there own chances to cause an Inspiration or a Mental Break, aswell as having there own standard drug benefits that all boil down to weakening the body and strengthening the mind. Berserker Balm is an ointment you can apply to your skin to put you into an unbridled rage, It makes you excel at melee combat however it blurs the lines in your mind between an allies and enemies Spiritroot Tea was traditionally used in medicine and spiritual rituals by alot of tribes on the rim, however it has also been used for recreation in desperate times, Interms of mechanical effects it has a 50/15/35 chance to cause a Minor Mental Break, Major Mental Break or Inspiration aswell as temporarily boosting Psy. Sensitivity, Research Speed and Global Learning. Moonbrain is a strange blue liquid seemingly derived from the tribal Spiritroot Tea but noone truely knows the recipe, It has the chances of 10/10/20/60 chances of causing either a Minor Mental Break, Major Mental Break, Extreme Mental Break or Inspiration, It also greatly enhances Learning, Psy. Sensitivity and Research Speed while hampering your abilities to move efficiently. Glimmerpearls are strange Glitterworld psychedelics that have been banned on most planets due to the intense amount of deaths they cause, It has a 10/90 Percent chance to cause either an Extreme Mental Break or an Inspiration, It has been shown to tear down entire empires when its used in excess, However in moderate amounts it can be quite helpful, It majorly improves Psychic Sensitivity and gives a very nice buff to Research Speeds and Learning.

Compatibility

Patricia's Psychedelics should be compatible with almost everything, Even Combat Extended! but if you do notice any incompatibilities please mention them to me on either Discord (Patriciaiscool) or here in the comments!

Some possible questions

How do you craft Glimmerpearls? You cannot! they can only be obtained via traders and quests, They should have a similar rarity to Luciferium. I cant find any research projects for Spiritroot Tea or Moonbrain Thats because there are none! The research projects required to craft Spiritroot Tea and Moonbrain are Psychoid Brewing and Psychite Refining respectively. May you release a version of this to download somewhere else not on the Steam Workshop? No, I have said before that I do not want to encourage Piracy of Rimworld and releasing my mods externally I feel personally encourages that, Even though I know some people have purchased the game off of GOG and thus cant use the Steam Workshop, That is an extremely small portion, Probably smaller than the portion of players who have purchased the game. Do you take suggestions? I do! and if I like the ideas enough or those ideas get enough traction and I think I may be able to create it I will. On a related note if you have some tips for balancing this mod then say so, I am fairly out of touch interms of balance but I do want to try balance this mod.
