HEADS-UP for RW 1.6 Players
It's been only 2 weeks since the outcoming of RW 1.6, so please don't expect much when it comes to mod compatibility. Up to now (2025/7/29) Phil's Vehicle Framework and Aoba's RimThunder Core are not stable enough for a bugless gameplay, not to mention that Combat Extended only has a so-called "dev snapshot" version. Thus, please don't expect much when playing. Although this mod does have a patch for Combat Extended, this DOES NOT guarantee that CE 1.6 dev snapshot Vehicle Framework RimThunder Core RimAlert Vehicle could work. In fact, it DOES NOT work at all. Please wait patiently till CE and VF are compatible to each other.Introduction
This is a vehicle pack based on Phil's Vehicle Framework and Aoba's RimThunder Core , which consists of several combat vehicles from the classic RTS game Red Alert by Westwood. Also, you can get yourself some aerial vehicle from Red Alert, as long as you subscribed to Aerocraft Framework ! This is optional though, not a mod dependency.
I am proud to announce that in June 7th's update, Mirage and Kirov joined our family of RimAlert Vehicles! See the Changelog for details of this update.
For better graphical performance, I strongly recommend that you use the "Paint" function provided by Vehicle Framework.

Credits
Thanks for RimThunder dev for their unconditional help with my xml problems. Thanks for Starch for his code of the guided missile this mod utilizes. Thanks for Dngab01 , hideyoshi1100100001 , rvbomally , Ska-Ara for artwork inspirations. Without these guys' unconditional help, this mod would never exist.Vehicles
Grizzly
Grizzly is a cheap battle tank of the Allied, with light armor and fast speed. It's equipped with a 105mm smoothbore gun and a angle-restricted coxial M240 gun.
Rhino
Rhino is the soviet counterpart of Grizzly, aiming to outweigh the latter by armor and firepower. It's equipped with a 120 smoothbore gun and a DShK gun.
IFV
IFV has completely no armor, thus it gets an astonishing high speed(18c/s). You can use "Upgrade" function to alter the turrets of IFV, with a reasonably low cost: some steel, components and workload. Available Turrets:
Swarm Missile Launcher. This is the default turret of IFV, which launches guided missile.
MG turret. In Red Alert 2 this turret appears when IFV is garrisoned by a GI.
Javelin Missile Launcher. In Red Alert 2 this turret appears when IFV is garrisoned by a Guardian GI. Again guided missiles, but way more powerful, with a much longer reload time.
Apocalypse
Perhaps the most powerful piece of this mod. Extreme armor, dual 130mm gun and a remote weapon system(RWS), consisting of a 20mm machine gun and a missile launcher similar to IFV's, but even more deadly. Its only weakness: slow speed(6c/s). Requires a hell lot of resources to build.
Mastermind
Yuri's mind control vehicle. In Rimworld it's difficult to imitate the RA mind control, so this mod enables the Mastermind to use the vanilla psychic shock lance as its weapon, and the psychic shock has no side effects of vanilla one(possibly causing brain injury). It uses high subcores as ammunition, because the Mastermind in RA is basically based on human brains to function.
Mirage
Mirage fires heat shells that will set fire on any flammable thing within its explosion range and give any pawn it hits a hediff "Overheat". Victims to Overheat will lose Manipulation and Moving capacities, making it even harder for them to flee the fire.
Sadly Mirage cannot currently transform into a tree, and as compensation it has smoke grenade launchers.
Kirov
Please notice that this airship is dependent on Aerocraft Framework, without which Kirov won't appear in your gameplay. It is optional though, if you don't want to subscribe AF.
By far the heaviest and most destructive weapon in the Soviet arsenal, the Kirov can take down even the hardiest land units with just a few bombs.
