Mod Description
In vanilla RimTalk, parameters such as pawn conversation distance limits, detection ranges, and environmental context gathering distances are hardcoded and cannot be customized. This mod uses Harmony patches to expose these parameters as configurable options, giving you full control over your pawns' conversation behavior.
Feature Details
Max Conversation Distance — Adjust the maximum distance for pawns to automatically initiate conversations. Set to 0 to remove the distance limit.
Same Room Requirement — Toggle whether pawns must be in the same room to converse. Disabling this allows cross-room communication.
Hearing/Sight Detection Range — Customize perception ranges to determine which pawns are included in the conversation context (as bystanders or participants).
Environment Context Gathering Distance — Adjust the range for the AI to scan surrounding buildings, items, flora, and fauna, affecting how the environment is mentioned in dialogues.
Nearby Cell Beauty Gathering Distance — Adjust the cell-level beauty scanning radius, influencing the richness of indoor/outdoor environment descriptions.
"Slighted" Mood Debuff Toggle — Toggle whether the "Slighted" mood penalty can be disabled.
Additional Notes
After installation, you can adjust the parameters in the Mod Settings menu. Each option features a slider for easy adjustment and includes an independent reset button to restore default values.
