Sexism
Every pawn is different.
Every pawn is different. Each one now has a real height and weight, drawn from heritable physique genes, rendered honestly on the map, and explained honestly in the UI. A 6'2" bruiser towers over a 5'1" scholar, their feet stay planted on the same ground line, and the bio tab tells you exactly where each of them falls among the living population.
Out of the box this is a size mod and nothing more: pawns vary in height and build, gameplay stays vanilla. Everything else is a module you switch on when you want it.
The physique grid
Nine heritable frame genes cross stature (short, average, tall) with build (slight, average, stout). Height, weight, and body size all flow from that one gene, with natural variation for every pawn. Children grow into their adult frame. Every pawn reads as one of four physiques relative to their own sex: Compact, Willowy, Stocky, or Towering.
The physique overview
Click the physique panel on any pawn's bio tab for the full picture: percentile bars with plain language tooltips that walk through the whole calculation, a presentation spectrum, romance preferences, live gameplay effects, a colony roster ranked by size, and a quadrant map of your population with density clouds and a gold marker for the pawn you are viewing.
Optional modules
- Body types: body art follows sex or presentation, with realistic male body derivation from build.
- Skills and passions: classic gender roles, or roles that follow presentation instead.
- Physiology: sixteen stat modifiers split by role, scaling with each pawn's actual physique. Every stat has its own toggle.
- Romance and attraction: pawns carry their own taste in stature, build, and presentation. Works for every orientation, and orientation itself is never touched.
- Expression spectrum: a presentation trait (masculine, androgynous, feminine) rolled on overlapping curves, so masculine women, feminine men, and androgynous pawns all emerge naturally. It describes presentation only, never sex, identity, or who a pawn loves, and it changes nothing unless a module reads it.
Bodies and apparel
Loosen the usual conventions when it suits your colony: let anyone wear anything regardless of tags, let some male role pawns use the softer silhouette, and tune the height gap between the sexes from zero to exaggerated. All off by default, all cosmetic, and every pawn remains exactly who they are.
Settings
A tabbed settings window retunes everything: presets (size only, classic dimorphism, full spectrum), the per sex spawn weight grids, every skill bias, each physiology stat, expression curves with a live preview, per race toggles for alien races, and one click role reversal.
