Will appear - rarely - in the following biomes:
Temperate Forest
Tropical Rainforest
Arid Shrubland
Temperate Swamp
Tropical Swamp
Desert
Grasslands
Scarlands
Lava Fields
Glowforest
If you use Vanilla Expanded Framework, a basilisk acid spit attack is added. Fun times!
