The Mad Scientist

As a scientist onboard an interstellar ark, you used your lab space to run insane experiements, combining genes to create montrosities from the ship's livestock. You even committed murder to further your experiments in combining human and animal DNA.

As your experiementing grew increasingly reckless, you were eventually discovered, horrifying society onboard the ark. Your lab was destroyed and all but one of the creatures euphenised, in spite of your protests about the value of your research.

When it came to your fate, the population - possessing some of the ethics you lack - banished you to an isolated RimWorld with what remained of your possessions, instead of execution.

Your data was scambled, which will make re-researching it difficult and random. You did, however, remember the basics of genetic engineering without the need for your files.
