Adds a setting to disable the automatic research unlocks granted by the Eastern Republic senators' final achievement (Profectus perk).
Why This Mod Exists
I find this perk detrimental to the RimWorld experience I'm looking for, where I want to progress slowly and research things at my own pace.
Usage
Once the Profectus perk is unlocked, a flask toggle appears in the bottom-right play-settings row, next to auto-home and auto-rebuild. Click it to switch auto research on or off. It takes effect immediately, no restart needed. The toggle only shows on the map view, and stays hidden until the perk is obtained. Auto research is on by default.
Mod Settings > Vanilla Factions Expanded - Classical - No Auto Research offers the same on/off control as the flask toggle, plus a "Show in-game toggle button" option to hide the flask toggle.
This mod is safe to add or remove mid save.
