Wool to Cloth

Wool to Cloth mod preview for RimWorld

Adds one bill to tailoring benches: 100 wool in, 50 cloth out.

Adds one bill to tailoring benches: 100 wool in, 50 cloth out.

Wool piles up. Animals keep producing it whether or not you have any use for it. Meanwhile, cloth, the textile with more uses, can only be grown from cotton.

This lets you convert. It is intentionally a poor exchange rate - you get half as much cloth as the wool you put in - so it is a way to drain a surplus you are sitting on rather than a replacement for planting cotton.

Any wool is accepted, including wool added by other mods, as long as it is registered as wool. Different wools can be mixed within a single batch, so a bill can eat 60 sheep wool and 40 alpaca wool together. As with any bill you can restrict the ingredient filter if you want a batch to use only one kind.

No research is required and no new buildings are added. Safe to add to or remove from an existing save.
