Yehoria's Better Hand Genes

This mod simply makes the way hand genes function better!

What it does:

Instead of directly modifying manipulation stat, genes modify body parts, adding stat bonuses/penalties to hands and fingers, which don't apply if you lose or replace the specific body part. The hediffs are hidden so as to not bloat the health menu.

Technical details:

This mod creates several new hediffs, that mimic the original genes direct stat modifiers, but are applied to hands or fingers. The hediffs are applied by the genes, using Vanilla Expanded Framework functionality and are removed when the body part is lost or replaced. This way your pigskin won't suffer from having trotter hands, when you have already replaced her arms with bionics. However the same applies to Genies. they won't get their genetic bonuses if you replace their fingers. Elongated fingers is applied to each finger separately, while trotters are applied to the entire hand. When using VRE - Sanguophage Sharp Talons gene's stat modifiers are moved to the hediff, that it already applies to hands. When using Vanilla Genes Rebalanced work speed bonus is integrated into trotter hand hediff.

Compatibility:

Built-in integration with VRE - Sanguophages, VRE - Saurids and Vanilla Genes Rebalanced. Due to the way this mod functions, it is automatically compatible with any mod that adds new prosthetics, including hands and fingers, as their hediffs will replace the ones i added.
