Pain Suppressor

Adds two brain-implantable devices that completely eliminate pain by releasing analgesic hormones. Hormone levels adjust in real time to counteract varying pain intensity, keeping pawns free from the movement and mood penalties of pain. When pain becomes too severe, hormone levels exceed the safe threshold, overloading the brain and causing the pawn to collapse into unconsciousness.

Features more precise hormone delivery control and a brain equilibrium filter, with a higher hormone overload threshold. Greater pain resistance, but also more likely to sustain fatal injuries in combat without realizing it. Materials: 40 Steel + 8 Components + 10 Plasteel + 20 Smokeleaf Leaves Hormone overload threshold: 90%

Mechanics

Complete Pain Block: The implant nullifies all pain, preventing minor injuries and illnesses from affecting work efficiency or mood. Hormone Stimulant: As hormone concentration rises, it provides an increasing consciousness boost to help counteract blood loss and other non-pain factors. Overload Collapse: When raw pain exceeds the threshold, high concentrations of analgesic hormones cause brain overload. The pawn wakes up automatically once pain subsides.
