Anima Wizard Gear not only provides a number of psyfocus staves and apparel, but summonable familiars, flying broomstick caravan animals, and smokeable anima grass.

Anima grass that grows around the tree can now be harvested and the anima tree itself can be chopped down for anima wood. If you wish to preserve your tree a smaller amount of anima wood can be obtained with the anima pruning ritual. Depending on the quality of the ritual, scaled off plant harvest yield, you will receive a variable amount of anima wood, or experience an anima scream. It will take 60 days for the anima tree to fully regrow. These resources are used to make a medley of equipment

Anima Staves

Anima branch - The most basic of staves, a poor melee weapon that gives a small amount of psychic sensitivity and heat dissipation
Wizard staff - A shaped anima branch set with a jade crystal. Slightly weaker than an eltex staff.
The Necbromancer's staff - Crafted at the brewery by taping beer cans together. Hits with the weapon will inebriate foes and wielding it grants the Boot and Rally skill, allowing the pawn to crack open one of the staff's beers and vomit on their foe.
Cleric's Staff - Slightly weaker than an eltex staff in terms of psy stats but much less melee damage. Wielding marginally increases tend/surgery speed/success and grants level 3+ psycasters the anima healing skill which increases healing factor, immunity gain, decreases bleed rate, and slowly heals injuries à la ghoul regeneration but slower for half a day. Very powerful but has to be recast regularly and casting the spell will wilt the staff's grass and it will need to be "reloaded" with more anima grass.
Thrumbo bone staff - Druid staff made from a ritualistically carved thrumbo horn and bound with anima vines. Wielding increases animal tame/training chance and gives the word of animals skill which will calm a manhunting animal.

Odyssey Staves
Obsidian Staff - Made with anima wood and obsidian, hits with the weapon can ignite foes and wielding it grants the Flames of Caerbannog skill.
Alpha Thrumbo bladed staff - Advanced druid staff made from a carved alpha thrumbo horn with an anima fiber handle. Quite a formidable melee weapon but slightly weaker than an eltex staff in terms of psystats. Wielding increases animal tame/training chance and gives the druidic warcall skill which calls on an animal to fight for you.

Anomaly Staves
Necromancer Staff - Made from anima wood and skulls. Hits with this weapon will rot foes and wielding it grants the Raise the Dead spell which creates a death pall at the targeted location. Continual casting of the spell will drain the dammed souls within and it will need to be "reloaded" with more skulls.
Flesh Staff - Made from anima wood and twisted meat, wielding it boosts void study, psychic ritual quality, and grants the Shape Flesh ability.

Anima Apparel

Wizard Robe, Hood, & Witch Hat - Tailored with fabric/leather & anima grass. Gives less psychic sensitivity and heat dissipation than their eltex counterparts.
Enchantlers - Horned skullcap favored by enchanters. Tailored from devilstrand and a thrumbo horn. Very resistant to fire but gives less psychic sensitivity and heat dissipation than an eltex skullcap.
Anima Shorts - Tailored with fabric/leather & anima grass. They're comfy and easy to wear, freeing up mental bandwidth for psycasting!
Prestige Anima Robe & Anima Crown - Royalty items lined with anima grass, gives less psystats than eltex.
Magic Man's Hat - Minimal protection but allows the wearer to unclose the circuit of magic, madness and sadness that runs through all psycasters, gives a huge boost to psystats at the expense of mental break threshold and mood.
Invisibility Cloak - Hyperweave cape that can only be bought from the empire. Allows the wearer to become invisible.
Anima Tome - Anima parchment bound with thrumbo leather. Utility item that gives a small amount of psystats and allow level 6+ psycasters to imbue inert animus stones, at the risk of a psychic breakdown. The sheer power used will disintegrate the tome.
The Necbromancer's Cap - Requires VAE. Backward cap crafted at brewery that provides minimal protection but boosts psystats.
Sorcerers Shoes & Gloves - Requires Medieval Overhaul. Essentially the leather boots/gloves but require anima grass and can be crafted from fabric as well and give a small amount of psystats.
Gilded Anima Plate - Requires MO. Gilded full plate but with anima grass to give psystats equivalent to the prestige power armours.

More Anima Junk

Flying Broomstick

A sentient broomstick made with an anima wood handle and a brush of anima grass. A pack animal that is Giddy Up 2 Forked Continued Classic Flavour Famous Original compatible. Do not need food or a pen and do not breed.
Anima Joints - Dried anima grass rolled for smoking. Caps movement at 50% and reduces global work speed by 50% but moderately increases psystats and greatly increases meditation gain rate. Slightly addictive and withdrawal greatly decreases psystats and meditation gain rate.
Inert Animus Stone - Carved from a large amount of jade at a stonecutting bench by a skilled artisan. Cannot be used as a meditation focus until a powerful psycaster uses an anima tome to imbue it.

Familiars

Gather at the anima tree to summon a powerful familiar. Depending ritual quality, scaled off psychic sensitivity, you will receive a hellhound, a cat, a rat, or insectoids will emerge from below and punish you. Eventually I want their nuzzles to give a psystats but the feature creep on this mod has gotten out of hand I need to release. Probably going to spin this off into its own mod with modules for expansions/fantasy animal mods.
Hellhound - Slightly larger warg with flaming claws and bite and a more friendly diet. Advanced trainability and if Odyssey is installed can be trained to comfort and attack target. Mountable but not pack animal.
Cat - Domestic black cat large enough to rescue. Advanced trainability, with Odyssey can be trained to comfort, forage, and attack target.
Rat - Slightly larger black rat with toxic scratches. Advanced trainability, with Odyssey can be trained to forage.

The good art is by Addie Van Winters and Pesky. The bad ones are by me, don't hold it against them.

Compatibility

Technically you don't need custom ritual framework, it was just a way to get anima wood without cutting your tree. If you don't want delete "PruneRitual.xml" and "FamiliarRitual.xml" There may be a few spots in the code where I assume you have Ideology and skipped MayRequire tho.
Broomstick and Hellhound are mountable with Giddy-Up 2.
Gloves, boots, and gilded anima plate with Medieval Overhaul.
Necbromancer's Cap with VAE.
Works with Anima Bionics, Gear, & Expansion

Maybe you do fw the empire heavy. Perhaps you would like to ponder the orb? Or acquire better eltex staves?
