🥩 Balanced Nutrition 🥗

Eating in RimWorld has always been simple: food is food. Balanced Nutrition changes that by adding a four-axis dietary system to every humanlike pawn — Proteins, Fats, Carbohydrates and Vitamins (PFCV). Now what your colonists eat matters as much as how much.

✨ Features

  • 🍖 Four nutrients per pawn — Proteins, Fats, Carbs and Vitamins, each tracked separately.
  • 📊 Dedicated pawn tab — colored bars, live values and status thresholds at a glance.
  • Different drain rates — carbs burn fast, fats last longest, just like real metabolism.
  • ⬇️ Deficiencies — let a nutrient run low and a gradually worsening condition sets in, with stat penalties and pain.
  • ⬆️ Overloads — too much of one nutrient is just as bad, with its own penalties.
  • 💚 Well-fed buffs — keep a nutrient in the healthy range and your pawn slowly earns positive bonuses.
  • ⚖️ No ugly stacking — a deficiency, an overload and a buff for the same nutrient never coexist; one fades before the next appears.
  • 😟 Mood matters — an unbalanced diet drags mood down.

🛠️ Fully configurable

  • 🔍 Searchable food list, grouped by category (meals, meat, raw, corpses, other).
  • 🎚️ Set PFCV values per food with simple sliders.
  • 🤖 Auto-calculated base values — apply to one food or to everything at once.
  • 📦 Works with modded food too — base values are derived automatically.

🌍 Languages

Mod UI selectable in settings: Russian, English, Simplified Chinese. In-game labels (conditions, thoughts, stats) are translated for Russian and Chinese.

ℹ️ Technical

  • 🔧 Requires Harmony.
  • 💾 Safe to add to existing saves — nutrient data is stored per pawn.
