FAQ
Q: Q: Can I add/remove it mid-game?
A: It is safe to add mid-game. If you wish to remove it, please switch to a different storyteller first, save your progress, and then disable the mod.
Q: I do not have the Ideology DLC.
A: In that case, the mod will only include the Storytellers and Abilities. Please note that, by default, the only way to acquire these Abilities is through the Roles provided by the Ideology DLC.
Q: Is this storyteller more like Cassandra or Randy?
A: Bardsley is a master of both structure and spontaneity.
- Major threats follow a Cassandra-style cycle, but with a twist: he meticulously sets the stage with environmental events to build tension before a disaster strikes. When a threat does arrive, it is more intense and impactful, though he provides a significantly longer recovery period for you to mend your colony.
- Other incidents are as random as Randy, but occur slightly more frequently.
- Bardsley also features a 'Muse’s Memory'—the probability of an event increases the longer it has been absent from your story. Once that event finally triggers, its probability resets to the baseline, ensuring that you will eventually experience everything the game has to offer in your final ballad.
Q: The abilities are very similar to those in D&D.
A: Yes, that's exactly where I got the inspiration from.
Q: Can I seduce the dragon?
A: No, seducing and dragons are not included in this mod.
