Believe & Join Convert their beliefs.

Believe & Join

Convert their beliefs. Recruit their bodies.

Vanilla gives you Convert or Recruit. Believe & Join adds a clean pipeline to the vanilla prisoner tab.

  • Recruit after conversion — convert the prisoner, then automatically switch to Recruit.
  • Reduce resistance first — finish resistance reduction before conversion, then recruit.
  • Release after conversion or Enslave after conversion — choose the end state.
  • Target ideology — select which colony ideology the prisoner should accept.
  • Pause rules — pause during wounds, mental breaks, or low mood.
  • Caravan-safe state — the selected pipeline survives map and caravan transitions.

“I have reconsidered my beliefs.”
“Great. Now reconsider your resistance.”

Compatibility

Requires Ideology. Harmony is required. Works with Prison Labor's Work & Convert action.

Hard incompatible: duplicate functionality
Do not use together with:

  • Convert Then Recruit
  • Custom Prisoner Interactions
  • Prisoner Utils

These mods overlap the same convert-then-recruit workflow and can create duplicate controls or competing interaction changes.

How it works

The mod delegates to vanilla Convert, Reduce Resistance, and Recruit behavior. It adds no custom recruitment math, no new needs, and no replacement balance system.

Supported scenarios:

  • Regular warden conversion
  • Ideology conversion rituals
  • Resistance reduction before conversion
  • Prison Labor Work & Convert

Unwaveringly loyal prisoners are excluded because vanilla cannot recruit them. The pipeline is safe to add to an existing save. Before removing the mod, set affected prisoners back to a vanilla interaction.

Load order

Harmony → Ideology → Prison Labor / other prisoner mods → Believe & Join
