A targeted load-error fix for Vanilla Factions Expanded — Insectoids 2.
Some 1.6 mod lists apply the insect terrain-speed entries more than once. RimWorld then reports a duplicate key such as VFEI2_Creep while resolving insect PawnKindDefs.
What it fixes
• Removes duplicate Creep, Jelly Floor, and Royal Jelly Floor entries when they exist.
• Restores one clean set of terrain speed values.
• Guards every removal so missing nodes do not create new patch errors.
• Does not remove insect races, PawnKindDefs, or gameplay features.
Requirements & load order
Requires Vanilla Factions Expanded — Insectoids 2. Load after it.
Do not use together with PAS7 Compatibility Fixes, which includes this repair.
