This mod currently adds 10 new turrets, covering a variety of tactical roles, including cheap mass-produced defenses, durable frontline emplacements, and non-lethal incapacitation turrets for capturing prisoners. They are integrated into the vanilla turret research line. If the mod is well received, I plan to add more in the future.

Most importantly, as the title suggests, these turrets require no electricity, no barrel replacements, and no maintenance parts (because honestly, I'm far too lazy to deal with all that in my own games). As a result, they continue operating during power outages and solar flares. Their balance is generally based on vanilla values and design principles.

Some turrets can be constructed from a variety of materials, including stone blocks or leather. That allow your colony's production and construction efforts to contribute more directly to combat effectiveness, while also giving you greater freedom when designing defensive positions. Overall, they make defending your colony significantly simpler.

With the exception of the three turret bases, all textures are derived from vanilla game assets. The code is also closely based on vanilla implementation and consists entirely of XML, so compatibility issues should be minimal. Performance impact should be no higher than vanilla turrets, and may even be slightly lower since these turrets do not need to constantly check power or maintenance-related resources.

This is a mod I have personally used for a long time. After finally wrapping up several of my long-running colonies, I decided to separate it into a standalone release, refine the artwork, and share it with the community.

Supported Languages:
* Simplified Chinese

Combat Extended (CE) is not supported. I do not personally use CE, and I currently do not have the time required to learn and maintain compatibility patches for it.
