If you inflict too much friendly fire on support mercenaries, they may turn their guns on you!
Now able to call for militias (using vanilla weapons) and specify races.
Armor can only be selected by tier; it will prioritize using armor of the chosen race. Weapons are drawn from non-vanilla weapons (if only using weapons of the chosen race, it would be no different from goodwill-based support).
The core of this mod is to allow mercenaries to use weapons normally restricted to the player.
Tiangong weapons may have red/yellow text. Wait for the original author to fix it; ignore it for now as it has no effect. I've only tested the races Qiluo and Milila; if there are issues with other races, feedback is welcome.
Added a brand-new "Call Mercenaries" option to the vanilla comms console.Players can spend resources like silver and gold from the orbital trade beacon to directly call for elite mercenary troops of different tiers.
[What's the difference between this and using goodwill to call for support?]
- Mouse-selected landing point; drop pods arrive precisely, strike exactly where you point.
- Breaks vanilla AI limitations! These mercenaries will be equipped with powerful weapons exclusive to the player (provided by other mods), which regular raiders absolutely cannot obtain.
Note: Using this mod requires you to have at least one other mod installed that provides weapons beyond the vanilla game.
