Configurable Shield & Regeneration Genes Adds two archite genes.
Configurable Shield & Regeneration Genes
Adds two archite genes. Requires RimWorld Biotech DLC. All core parameters of both genes can be freely adjusted via Mod Settings.Nanomechanical shield
Archite nanomachines within the carrier's cells generate an energy shield on their surface. The shield absorbs incoming damage and consumes energy based on the damage taken. When energy is fully depleted, the shield enters a cooldown state and will automatically recharge and reactivate.- Blocks both melee and ranged damage
- Does not prevent the carrier from using ranged weapons
- Gene carrier is immune to fire
- Full cooldown and recharge parameters adjustable in Mod Settings
- Complexity: 5
- Metabolic efficiency: -1
- Archite capsules: 1
Nanomechanical regeneration
Archite nanomachines constantly repair cellular damage, capable of stopping bleeding, restoring blood loss, removing scars, and regrowing missing limbs over time.- Tend wounds
- Heal normal wounds
- Heal scars
- Regrow missing limbs
- Restore blood loss
- Regeneration burst: After taking combat damage, enters a rapid healing state with shorter healing intervals and a multiplied heal pool.
- Regenerating tissue: Newly grown limbs begin as weakened tissue and gradually mature over time. They do not bleed or cause pain but do reduce part efficiency until fully restored.
- Complexity: 4
- Metabolic efficiency: -2
- Archite capsules: 2

FAQ
Q: CE? A: Yes, you can add these two genes to your favorite pawns via Character Editor. Jokes aside, this mod does not add any weapons or armor and is fully compatible with Combat Extended. Q: How do I obtain these genes? A: Just like in vanilla, you can acquire genepacks containing these genes through trade. I recommend the following mods to make gene acquisition easier:- Gene Fabrication allows players to craft genes themselves.
- GeneLibrary adds a building called the Gene Library. It contains every gene in the game (including mod-added genes).
- Gene Trader adds an orbital trader that sells genepacks.
