You can directly choose which items to protect in the mod settings.

This mod prevents not only explosion damage but also fire damage, since chemfuel explosions are treated as fire damage internally.

As a result, protected items will not be damaged by fire. If a protected item catches fire, it will continue burning indefinitely unless the fire is extinguished or rain puts it out.
