Elosth's Stockpiles

Opinionated stockpile creation options.

Opinionated stockpile creation options.

Adds a variety of stockpiles, accessible through the RMB float menu for the "Stockpile zone" designator. By default, it replaces the vanilla stockpile designators with a custom one, but it can be made separate in the Mod Options.

It was built around the idea of non-overlapping stockpiles. In other words, every item type should have exactly one storage destination (this does not apply to ingredient and selection stockpiles, for obvious reasons). It covers almost every item in the game (including items from mods), with the exception of colonist and slave corpses.

Stockpiles you can create:

  • Fresh corpses (humanlike)
  • Rotten corpses
  • Fresh carcasses (animals, entities)
  • Rotten carcasses
  • Friendly mechanoid corpses
  • Shreddable corpses (mechanoids and drones)
  • Waste
  • Mortar shells
  • Explosives (anything that explodes)
  • Medicine
  • Books
  • Weapons
  • Apparel
  • Stone Chunks
  • Chunks
  • Biosolids (Dubs Bad Hygiene)
  • Feces (Dubs Bad Hygiene)
  • Long-term rottables (default threshold is 15 days; berries, for example, won't be stored)
  • Short-term rottables
  • Deterioratables
  • High-value non-deterioratables (default threshold is $320; items that have quality go here regardless of value)
  • Low-value non-deterioratables

Some categories are split, which can be disabled in the Mod Options.

Additionally, this mod lets you create ingredient and selection stockpiles. Ingredient options can be accessed by holding Shift while opening the float menu. To use the selection options, simply select items and open the float menu.

Ingredient stockpiles include every ingredient type from all your workstations. Non-fixed ingredients (such as textiles) with more than 6 ingredient types per bill are skipped.

Compatibility notes

Wastepacks from Vanilla Recycling Expanded that deteriorate are included in the "Waste" category.

Q/A

Can it be added/removed mid-game?
Yes. It's a dead simple mod that doesn't even use Harmony. Stockpiles created with this mod act like regular stockpiles after creation.
