Flexible Hydroponics
The vanilla hydroponics basin is four tiles long, so planning a grow room means working around a shape rather than filling the space you actually have.
The vanilla hydroponics basin is four tiles long, so planning a grow room means working around a shape rather than filling the space you actually have. Awkward corners and odd-sized rooms end up wasted.
This adds a one-tile hydroponics tray that drag-places like a wall. Click and drag to flood whatever shape you like, right into the corners.
It also adds linked plant settings. Change what one basin is growing and every basin linked to it changes to match. This works on vanilla four-tile basins too, not just the new trays.
Per tile the tray matches the vanilla basin on fertility, steel, work and power. Components are the deliberate exception: a vanilla basin spends one per four tiles, a tray spends one each. Cramming a full nutrient loop into a single tile is fiddly engineering, and being able to grow in otherwise dead space should cost something.
Safe to add to an existing save. If you remove it, any trays you built will disappear along with whatever was growing in them - the vanilla basins are unaffected.
Requires Harmony.
