Animal Spawn Control

Animal Spawn Control mod preview for RimWorld

Tune which animals show up in the wild, biome by biome, from the mod settings.

Tune which animals show up in the wild, biome by biome, from the mod settings.

Pick a biome and you get every animal that lives there, each with a slider from "never" to five times as common. Drop the thrumbos, flood the boreal forest with muffalo, or wipe out every last squirrel. The listed animals come from the game as loaded, so modded animals and modded biomes appear automatically with no patching.

Coastal species are handled properly. RimWorld gives animals like walruses a separate coastal commonality that only applies on coastal tiles, and that is scaled alongside the normal one, so a walrus you set to half stays coastal - it just turns up half as often on the shore. Polluted-tile spawns are treated the same way.

Changes apply immediately to newly spawned wildlife. Animals already on your maps stay where they are.

Safe to add or remove from an existing save.
