About
This mod increases the FPS by overriding the default "worst allowed FPS" from 22 FPS to 60. It achieves this by reducing the number of ticks processed per frame, resulting in a more stable and higher FPS, and almost unchanged TPS.
As a first approximation:
The changes of the mod take effect only if load is high and cpu cannot handle it. In this conditions vanilla allows FPS to be 22 at best, this FPS drop frees time to do more TPS. This mod allows FPS to be 60 at best, so there will be less freed time.
There is a deal: buy extra FPS for time, that vanilla assigned for TPS during FPS drop.
The value "60" can now be changed in settings, so you can configure the deal and even change its direction.
Compatibility
The mod may not work only if something changed the 'TickManagerUpdate' function. It can be just some other optimization mod. Rocket Man, Performance Optimizer and Performance Fish are surely compatible with FPS Stabilizer.
Thanks to Cosmic Lustyness for the TPS&FPS mod, which helped to make preview.
Adds new list boxes for recipe bills, health bills, plant selection, architect menu, research menu, and a quick select menu for designators, making it easier to find things when lots of mods are running.
See changenotes. Vanilla Events Expanded is one of our oldest mods, and I’m honestly shocked it’s holding up so well - it’s pretty resistant to game updates and bugs because of its simplicity. Back when I first made it with Kikohi, we didn’t know much about modding. I just wanted
