Freed Slaves

Your tribe stood no chance against the more skilled and technologically superior Orion Corp. inquisitors. Your village was quickly burned to ash and your people enslaved, the weak being killed before your very eyes. You were lucky to be assigned your childhood friend as your slave pen partner, as you leaned on each other to keep yourselves sane.

After many years of faithful servitude to the Orion Corp. as slaves, they promised you both another chance at freedom. Little did either of you know that it was all just a part of an experiment - one to test the grounds of a new Rimworld for possible Orion Corp. exploitation.

On your final day as a slave, to your surprise, you were both treated as kings - given a chance to recouperate after years of hard labor. This kind of treatment would be short lived, as the very next morning, both of you were stripped and cast upon this new Rimworld with nothing but each other.

-Climate cycle: A multi-year climate cycle due to an elliptical orbit.
-Aurora: An aurora is lighting up the sky. The breathtaking display will boost the mood of anyone outside to see it.
