Description:
Armor & Bandoliers
Have you ever wanted a slightly more modular yet vanilla approach to armor? Feel like there is something missing between base flak armor and power armor (or late industrial in general)? Want your militaristic frontierspeople to have a more defined look than just overcoats? This mod adds a mid-tier, vanilla-friendly equipment path and introduces bandoliers as a meaningful trade-off item.Features
Why Bandoliers
Bandoliers exist for trade-offs. They occupy the Shell slot, which normally fits overcoats and other high-end apparel that can give major bonuses to armor and insulation. Bandoliers intentionally compete with those options by offering utility instead of tankiness.Requirements / Compatibility
- Requires: the mod that provides the ranged stat used by the bandolier (if Vanilla Expanded, list the exact dependency).
- Optional helpers: If you get blurry graphics, use a texture-clarity mod. If you dislike parts of the content but want the rest, Dub’s Cherry Picker can disable items granularly.
- Combat Extended (CE): If someone makes a CE patch, intended ammo for the assault carbine is .22 Spitfire (possibly Fallout 5mm) or 5.7×28mm; rubber/hunting intended as .30 Carbine.
