Heat of the Desert
Heat of the Desert increases the realism - and the challenge - of hot biomes. In this complete package, the mod turns things up a notch with:
- Configurable options to make plants more vulnerable to heat, including the possibility of death by heat
- A reduction in the heat tolerance of animals
- A reduction in the heat insulation gained with clothes and armor
Version 1.0a: Initial release
Mod options:
- Plants die in excessive heat (default true)
- Max temperature plants can survive in (default 50C)
- Max temperature plants can grow in (default 45C)
- Max optimal temperature for growth (default 37C)
Mod changes:
- Most animals' max comfortable temperatures reduced to the vanilla default of 40C
- Reptiles and dromedaries reduced to 45C
- Armor and clothes give half as much heat insulation (except Phoenix Armor)
Note: Heat stroke occurs 10C above the maximum comfortable temperature
