IRBM x Rim Atomics - Compatibility Patch
Note this is still a work in progress patch.
Note this is still a work in progress patch. Balance and more importantly dealing with the rim atomics research system is still being worked on. As it is this is extremely punishing to use mod, but considering just how powerful a size 1 rockets are not too un fair. (a single cluster size 1 missile can wipe most stock bases)
For early game defense just build a bunch of cwis turrets. Works pretty good though all your steel will be gone.
Ever think it's a little TOO easy to end civilization?
Just slap some uranium together and boom — nuclear warhead. No effort,
no suffering, no existential dread during the crafting process. Where's
the fun in that?
This patch makes building nukes the soul-crushing logistical nightmare
they were always meant to be. Now your IRBM missiles require proper
Rim Atomics components — fuselages, rocket engines, and an actual
assembled nuclear warhead — before you get to press the big red button.
The Rim Atomics Liberator has also been disabled, because if you're
going to blow up the world you're going to EARN it.
In short: more steps, more materials, more suffering. Just like real
geopolitics.

WHAT THIS PATCH DOES
――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――
- IRBM Strategic Nuclear Warhead now requires a Rim Atomics
Nuclear Warhead (FissionWarhead) instead of raw uranium.
- All IRBM missile bodies now require Rim Atomics Missile Fuselages
and Rocket Engines instead of steel, components, and chemfuel.
- The Rim Atomics Liberator is disabled. Use the IRBM missile silo.

REQUIREMENTS
――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――
- IRBM (Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles)
- Rim Atomics
Load this mod AFTER both of the above.
Safe to add mid-save. Removing mid-save is fine too, though any
missiles already built won't be refunded the new materials.
