⚑ Modern Faction Menu
A complete, modern replacement for the Factions tab — a dark dashboard in the Modern X style with faction cards, pinning, relation filters, live trend graphs, a framed territory map for every settlement, and a flavor ticker that tells you what each faction is up to right now. Modded factions are supported automatically. Click the Factions button to open it; click again to close. A toggle inside switches back to the vanilla tab at any time.✦ The Faction List
- Faction cards — color-striped cards with faction icon, type, and live goodwill.
- Pinning — pin the factions you care about to the top (saved per game).
- Relation filters — one-click chips to show/hide hostile, neutral, and allied factions, with live counts.
- Search — find any faction by name or type.
✦ The Faction Page
- Pinned overview — relation, goodwill bar, leader, ideoligion, lore, and the territory map stay fixed at the top while everything else scrolls.
- Settlement browser — a framed map preview of any of their settlements; arrows step through them all, a crown marks the capital, and clicking jumps straight to it on the world map.
- At-a-glance actions — caravan, trade, and comms icons under the map: distance from your colony, what the settlement's trader will buy and when it restocks, and who answers the comms console.
- Flavor ticker — a rotating status line: relics of theirs you hold, war parties on the move, active quests, fresh events, and royal titles your colonists carry.
- Collapsible sections — fold away anything you don't need.
✦ Trend Graphs
Six historical graphs per faction, sampled four times a day from the moment the mod is installed: Wealth · Inflation · Relations · Settlements · Population · Territory. Hover any curve for the exact value and calendar date. With Economics & Demography installed, Wealth, Inflation, and Population are the real simulated figures — not estimates.✦ Integrations
Everything below is optional and detected automatically — the menu works fine with none of them installed:- Cybranian – Rim Languages — each faction's dialect, your colony's fluency, and who else speaks it.
- Faction Territories and Vassalage — territory painted onto the map preview, claimed-tile counts, vassal outposts, and vassalage points.
- Air Territories — airspace transit permits, passes remaining, and overflight risk.
- World Domination Experimental — settlement tiers and strengths, share of world power, industry breakdown, and live troop movement in the ticker. Counts match WD's own stats exactly.
- Economics & Demography — real population pyramids (adults/children/elders), faction wealth and silver, economic archetypes, and true world inflation on the graphs.
- Itemization Overhaul – Core — holding another faction's sacred relic shows a warning ticker on their page (they will want it back).
✦ Compatibility
- Adds no defs and changes no game balance — pure UI plus a lightweight daily data recorder.
- Modded factions, ideologies, and xenotype factions appear automatically.
- Safe to add to an existing save. Removing it only logs a one-time harmless warning.
- All integrations are soft (reflection-based) — load order doesn't matter, and any subset works.
- Requires Harmony.
